This review is no different and we’re going to be checking out the X-Men slot machine. It’s another of Cryptologic’s efforts and as soon as you know that you know there’s not going to be many negative aspects to it. You’d be right to think that as well because this delivers the same immersive atmosphere as Cryptologic’s other offerings.

It has five reels but only nine paylines where on similar machines you might expect up to twenty five. It’s all part of the process though, as they say, and this limit in no way detracts from the gaming experience. X-Men features all the characters you would expect to find from the movies - Professor Xavier, Storm, Wolverine, Night Crawler, Jean Gray, Cyclops, Rogue and Gambit. It also features the villains Magneto, Mystique and Sabretooth as part of The Brotherhood of Mutants.
